Supervises personnel and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Being a Golf Superintendent - Assistant ensures adherence to golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. May serve in the Superintendent's capacity during absence. Additionally, Golf Superintendent - Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a golf course superintendent. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at our Links Indoor Golf location in Pocatello, ID. The ideal candidate will assist the Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing sales, and overseeing the retail team.
Duties:
- Support the Manager in all aspects of location operations
- Supervise and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage golf simulator's, inventory, replacement parts, etc...
- Assist in pricing strategies, sales promotions, and events
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
- Knowledge of operations is a plus
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and vendors
- Strong budgeting skills to assist in financial management
- Experience in team management and leadership
- Proficiency in POS systems for transactions and inventory management
- Sales management skills to drive revenue growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
