Glass Cutter/Finisher operates automatic equipment that burns, scores, and breaks continuous sheets of glass into specific lengths. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glass Cutter/Finisher may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glass Cutter/Finisher relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Seeking full time worker for 30-40 hours a week. A great opportunity for someone who wants to master and be a part of the residential and commercial glass trade. This is a family owned glass business with over 40 yrs in the DFW area. We specialize in shower enclosures, window glass and/or frame installations, custom mirrors, commercial storefronts, and all kinds of custom flat glass installations. You need to have some glass or construction experience to be considered. Must have a clean driving record and a source of transportation. No personal tools required, transportation and tools will be provided for all jobs.
