We are seeking an experienced Scientist, Environmental Scientist, or Geologist for one of our Wisconsin-based offices. Your Key Responsibilities- Prepare project deliverables including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, quarterly progress reports, sampling and analysis plans, site investigation reports and remedial action plans in whole or in part, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
- Participate in proposal preparation (work scope, task-level budgeting, cost estimates), may perform calculations, gather, or review information, or prepare standard sections of proposals.
- Analysis and interpretation of environmental data.
- Coordinate subcontractors (such as analytical laboratories, private locators, and drillers) while performing office assignments.
- Periodic travel/field work may be required for the purpose of leading field crews, performing environmental monitoring or site reconnaissance, or off-site meetings with clients, landowners, and/or regulatory agencies.
Your Capabilities and Credentials- Proven record of technical writing experience.
- Proficient in policies and procedures related to health and safety and applies these policies and procedures to their work.
- Communicate technical information with clients, landowners, government regulators and agencies, as well as non-technical communication with the public.
- Build strong relationships with key clients with respect to their technical area and the broader business objectives in their regions.
- Build and maintain productive professional and personal networking relationships.
- Effectively manage, lead, and complete tasks or projects in the field and office.
- Safe driving record and valid driver’s license required.
Education and Experience- Bachelor of Science degree (Geology, Biology, or related discipline).
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience coordinating, implementing, and writing ASTM compliant Phase I ESAs for a wide range of property types including utility-scale renewable due diligence projects is required.
- Master’s degree and/or professional license (e.g., PG) desired.
