General Laborer performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, digging, and moving materials. Operates a variety of tools to complete assignments according to internal and external policies and regulations. Being a General Laborer assembles and disassembles machines, tools, and other work-related equipment. Assists engineers and a variety of other functions with manual labor tasks as needed. Additionally, General Laborer may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The General Laborer works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. - Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Assist in the installation of landscape features such as plants, trees, and hardscapes
- Provide snow plowing and ice removal services during winter months
- Operate and maintain various hand tools and equipment used in landscaping
- Perform general garden maintenance including weeding, watering, and fertilizing
- Assist with tree care tasks such as pruning and trimming

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant identification
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
