**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Refinisher / Restorer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for restoring furniture to its former glory and enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

**Responsibilities:**

- Refinish and restore various types of furniture pieces including tables, chairs, cabinets, and dressers

- Strip old finishes, sand surfaces, and apply new finishes such as paint, varnish, or stain

- Repair any damages or imperfections in the furniture

- Utilize various tools and techniques to achieve desired finishes

- Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all restoration projects

- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

**Experience:**

- Proven experience as a Furniture Refinisher or Restorer

- Proficiency in using woodworking tools such as sanders, saws, and drills

- Knowledge of different types of wood and finishes

- Ability to match colors and finishes accurately

- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

**Preferred Skills:**

- Upholstery repair skills

- Experience with antique furniture restoration

- Knowledge of environmentally friendly finishing techniques
