May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The painter will spray surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as enamel or epoxy. Needs to excel in multi-tasking and the ability to follow instructions and pivot projects based on priorities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have knowledge of polishes, adhesives, solvents, and colors.
Able to properly use hand tools and various power tools.
Must be able to distress surfaces with woodworking tools.
Needs to be a self-starter when not working under direct supervision.
Demonstrated product knowledge of various finish products and their application process.
Must have good time management and organizational skills.
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
