Front Desk Manager manages front desk staff and ensures quality customer service. Oversees the daily service operations for hotel rooms and the execution of contracts, deposits, and billing. Being a Front Desk Manager ensures check-in, check-out, and billing processes are performed competently and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Responds to and resolves guest complaints and concerns. Additionally, Front Desk Manager requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a hotel manager. The Front Desk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Front Desk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Description
We are currently seeking a manager for our Class B Recycling Facility and related Trucking Operations to provide support for our Heavy Construction Group and other client contractors. This includes our own trucking fleet of Triaxles, Trailers and Roll-Off Containers, material sales of recycled aggregates, sand, stone and fill to both retail and wholesale customers. Manage and schedule a staff of scale technicians, plant equipment operators, laborers and company drivers. Push sales and develop new customers and account for our services.
This individual must be able to oversee all operations including:
Schedule of trucks, triaxles, dump trailers, roll-off containers and walking floors both near and mid-term timelines in conjunction with our Heavy Highway and Utility Construction Company's needs.
Develop a strong list of driver candidates and owner operators to support growing operations.
Strong computer skills with MS Office, ability to learn scheduling software (MS Project) and maintain schedule files. Produce daily sales, material inventory and trucking reports.
Manage operations and personnel of the Class B recycling facility. Oversee the timely recycling/processing of in-bound materials to marketable aggregates and soils. Maintain inventory of sands, soil and rock products not processed on site from pre-arrange purchases.
Marketing (sales) of facilities' products and services, both in-bound and out-bound - potential bonus commission on new sales
Work with company mechanics to maintain truck and equipment on scheduled maintenance, and oversee timely repairs.
