Job Description : Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

• Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections.
• Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift.
• Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS. Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry.
• Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning).
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
• During the seed delivery and return season : ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain safety standards - initiate & follow emergency procedures when necessary.

Preffered Experience :

• 1 year of forklift experience.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Prior forklift certification is preferred.

Skills :

• Ability to count accurately when moving inventory.
• Ability to read scales.
• Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented.
• Being alert and aware when driving the forklift in a safe manner.
• Ability to communicate and work by themself or with a team.
• Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift.

Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements :

• Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.
• Have reliable transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the work site as instructed.
• Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all with respect.
