The Silviculture Forester is part of the Coastal Piedmont Region in Southern Timberlands and will report to the Piedmont Area Manager. It is a full-time, exempt position located near Georgetown, GA. This role involves office and field time to plan and manage the activities required to support sustainable management of the Piedmont Area Tree Farm.

Key Functions
As a Silviculture Forester, you will be responsible for the safe implementation of silviculture practices which includes all activities from stand establishment through mid-rotation, field recon/verification, contract administration, and providing timely updates to ensure financial accuracy. You will also work together with other team members, the Silviculture Manager, and Area Manager to execute the silviculture plan in compliance with regional silviculture strategy and the annual plan. The Silviculture Forester role is area-based and working together with other functions is critical to the success of the region.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
