    American Institute for Foreign Study Abroad (AIFS Abroad), has been providing life-changing study and internship abroad programs for university students and young professionals since 1964. AIFS Abroad is mission-driven and focused on helping university students and young people participate in high quality, inclusive, and innovative global education. We are a team of passionate world travelers and innovators committed to our students, partner universities, parents, and host companies. 

    AIFS Abroad is looking for new Marketing & Recruitment Ambassadors to represent AIFS Abroad to prospective participants, parents, and campus staff by sharing their unique experiences. In this position, you will work directly with the University Relations Team, Marketing, and the university's education abroad office. 

    Ambassadors will have a wide range of duties which include, but are not limited to, attending fairs and campus events as well as presentations on campus. AIFS Abroad team members will mentor and support operations and requirements. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Must be a full-time undergraduate student for fall 2024 
    • Must be an alumni of an AIFS Abroad program 
    • Must be able to relate and create an environment of welcome for all students  
    • Should passionately and genuinely represent the core values of AIFS Abroad 
    • Strong public speaking skills, proactive, detail oriented, reliable, and highly motivated 
    • Must collaborate with AIFS Abroad and university education abroad staff and positively contribute to the team environment 

    Expectations: 

    • Must commit to attend Ambassador training (remote) 
    • Must commit to a full academic year  
    • Must complete HR trainings by 2 weeks after start date 
    • Expect to work 2-6 hours per week; schedule is flexible to your class schedule 
    • Attend select campus events in spring and fall

    Program Requirements 

    AIFS Abroad ambassadors will be required to complete the following tasks and submit weekly updates of what was accomplished but is not limited to this list depending on university requests and requirements 

    • Attend Ambassador Training 
    • Complete HR Paycom Trainings 
    • Meet 1x per week with your University Relations Manager or Enrollment Manager 
    • Establish a connection with the office on campus 
    • Must adhere to and understand university campus requirements and limitations 
    • Set office hours in the education abroad office (if allowed) 
    • Table at education abroad fairs 
    • Collect lead sheets and return to AIFS Abroad  
    • Submit 4-6 social media posts per month  
    • Write 1 Blog per semester 
    • Host 1 AIFS Abroad event during the semester 
    • Tabling events on campus – during orientation, rush, international education week etc
    • Present to 1 classroom per month (or 5 in the term) 
    • Present to 3 student organizations  
    • Attend special events as needed  
    • Write online reviews on 4 major platforms 
    • Like and follow social accounts 
    • Participate in Ask Alumni 
    • Additional tasks as needed
