Financial Controller
A successful and growing beverage wholesaler is seeking an experienced Controller to manage the day to day accounting duties including but not limited to overseeing income and expenses, managing cash, ensuring regulatory compliance, onboarding of new computer system and other projects as assigned by the President and COO. G & G Beverage Distributors, Inc. is a proud distributor of domestic, import, craft beers and ciders throughout New Haven, Fairfield, Litchfield and Hartford County. Based in Wallingford, CT. Minimum Requirements
10 years of financial oversight and functional accounting responsibilities
Responsibilities
Manage and perform all accounting operations including account payable processing and reporting, journal entry and cost processing and reporting
Prepare and close monthly and year financials on a timely basis
Bank reconciliations
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Primary liaison with outside accountants for year end review and tax preparation
Oversight of payroll and accounts payables function
Develop and document business process and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Utilize process to advise owners on ways to maximize profits
Manage and file all regulatory documents
Direct the onboarding of inhouse software program
Develop and monitor key performance indicators on a real time basis
Position Compensation/Schedule:
Salaried position; eligible for quarterly & annual bonuses
Office hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am till 4:30. Minimum 40 hours per week

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
As G & G Beverage Distributors is a growing company with seasonal volume fluctuations, flexibility is required to schedule work hours and vacations around peak work times. Individual must be able to shift priorities, work assignments to meet the needs of the seasonal nature of the work.
This is primarily a sedentary office position, working in a typical environment. The employee uses a phone, computer and general office equipment.
