Floral Designer designs and fashions live, cut, dried, and artificial floral and foliar arrangements for a variety of events. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Floral Designer is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Description
Busy flower shop seeking a florist/floral designer who is accustomed to working in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be able to create arrangements for 1800 Flowers, weddings, and funeral designs. Industry knowledge and proven ability to select and arrange flowers to create standard and customized arrangements is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in floral design
- Knowledge of flower types and arrangement styles
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Artistic & creative
- Punctuality is a must
