    We are currently seeking a Senior Fire Engineer for our client in Dubai to join their team of fire safety consultants. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and assist in the development of the team.     Role

    • As a key member of the project team, you will manage junior engineers and collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines.
    • The role involves implementing fire engineering solutions and strategies across a diverse range of projects, from conceptual planning to detailed design and implementation.
    • Travel within the Gulf region may be required to support project needs.
    • You will have the opportunity to participate in training, development programs, and industry events to enhance your skills and expertise.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s degree in fire safety engineering or other 'fire' related degree is required.
    • Chartered status with a relevant institution or close to attaining it, is required.
    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a consultancy or similar environment.

    Required Skills And Knowledge

    • Be familiar with RIBA stages of design or other design frameworks and understand the total fire concept: from the client brief through to construction and operation, the fire engineering challenges relevant to different design stages and the level/type of fire engineering input required to progress the design and contribute to completion.
    • Demonstrated experience in delivering fire engineered solutions with a strong understanding of industry codes and standards.
    • A proven track record of gaining agreement for prescriptive and performance based design solutions from approving authorities is essential.
    • Proven ability to manage projects, including financial performance and client relations.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
    • Experience in business development activities and establishing a network of clients and colleagues.
    • Aviation project experience and knowledge of IBC/NFPA codes and standards would be a benefit but not essential.
