Fire Inspector Supervisor jobs in Florida
Fire Inspector Supervisor oversees the inspection of fire-damaged dwellings to determine cause and prevention. Enforces a variety of fire laws, regulations, and policies. Being a Fire Inspector Supervisor requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Fire Inspector Supervisor relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. A well established Life Safety Systems company, located in the South Florida area is looking for an experienced fire sprinkler /fire alarm inspector.
Applicant must be classified a NICET Level II or equivalent with minimum of 3 years inspection experience.
Duties will also include small repairs. Fire Alarm, backflow and extinguisher certification a plus. Applicants must have a clean driving record, pass a background check and drug screen test.
