Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates the flow of guests into the dining, patio and bar areas
• Ensures dining rooming and wait stations for service at the beginning of shift
• Greets and acknowledge incoming guests warmly and graciously upon arrival.
• Rotates guest seating appropriately around the restaurant
• Maps out large parties using Party Guide
• Manages wait list and quotes times,
• Records all guest information accurately into reservation system
• Takes and Manage reservation arrivals for minimum wait time
• Seats guests based on guest preferences, adhering to the proper balancing of customer flow in service stations.
• Accommodates special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
• Upon seating, be sure to place out proper silverware count, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name and provide water service if Server need support.
• Inspect table for proper presentation and cleanliness.
• Relay messages to servers as needed. Always notify a manager of any guest complaints no matter the severity.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
