Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered provides sales and business development support for one or more licensed/registered investment product sales representatives. Performs customer service and administrative tasks to answer product questions, make changes to accounts, open new accounts, and receive orders. Being a Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered may execute orders from existing clients. Maintains a sales and referral database and uses telemarketing and customer profiling to generate leads and additional business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Additionally, Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered coordinates referrals, sales appointments, and requests for information. Has a solid knowledge and understanding of the firm's product offerings. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires completion of the FINRA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and any state licensing. Depending on the product's sold, may also require completion of FINRA Series 7 General Securities Representative qualification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Your Mission
Our Sales team is dedicated to generating new clients for our company by selling our financial plan service to qualified individuals. As our Sales Assistant, you’ll work with our Sales team to manage warm leads and newly acquired clients by providing support and administrative assistance during the sales process. This includes booking and confirming sales appointments, assisting the Sales leads as needed to keep them engaged and moving along with the sales process, ensuring the sales administration is complete and introducing new clients to their advisory team. There is also opportunity for travel to live events to assist with booth management. You do not need to be licensed and will not be selling or recommending insurance or investment products. There is potential for a career path in sales or advisory services for those who qualify.
NOTE: This is an “in-office” position. But from time to time, you may also participate in live conferences that EFA attends to generate leads, which may include travel.
Some Required Or Desired Qualifications- At least 1 year of experience in working with warm leads with a successful track record
- At least 1 year of experience with office administration and client servicing
- Experience with and ability to operate Salesforce or similar CRM, including basic data entry functions as well as sales support functions
- Experience and success with making out-bound phone calls to sales leads and scheduling appointments.
- Good typing and computer skills including programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Appointment setting and excellent communication and phone skills
- Good attitude and desire to help, friendly and outgoing
- Ability to manage project deadlines and keep sales data organized and coordinated
- Good ability to keep accurate records and notes to track the sales cycle
- Multi-tasking and time management
- High care and interest in helping our public and our team succeed
- Ability to tolerate a fast-paced environment
- Able to travel to live events and man company booth
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Database management and credit card processing
- Office administration skills
- Basic sales training
