Financial Reporting Accountant jobs in Connecticut

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly financial statements for multiple companies
• Consolidation of multiple companies with various reporting currencies
• Assist with monthly financial reporting package to parent company
• Preparation of the annual audited financial statements (including cash flow statement and footnotes) including financial statements for foreign subsidiaries
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, accounting research, covenant compliance, prequalification forms, and other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
• Carry out job duties and responsibilities while maintaining Lane values

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting
• Must be analytical with financial analysis expertise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong level of Excel experience
• Understanding of US GAAP and financial statements; IFRS experience a plus
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills are essential
• Must be flexible, detail-oriented, with strong self-initiative and follow-through
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion Financial Management a plus
