Finance Director jobs in Georgia
Finance Director directs an organization's financial policies, planning, reporting and controls. Oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, risk, tax, and treasury. Being a Finance Director generally is the second most senior finance executive. Requires a master's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent. Additionally, Finance Director may require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief financial officer (CFO). The Finance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Finance Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to direct reports.
- Attract, retain, develop, and motivate top talent.
- Drive the development of leaders through performance feedback and individual development plans.
- Support talent management efforts by monitoring succession planning and selection processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in managing large-scale SAP programs and retail operations.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving results.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Expertise in SAP ecosystem and financial business processes.
- Experience managing system integrators and software contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and strategic alignment.
