Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. Responsibilities
This position is responsible for planting, weeding, and installing plants as well as maintaining existing ones. This may include tasks such as watering, pruning, fertilizing, and insect/pest control. Training for this position will be available to you through the company by hands on experience, but existing horticultural knowledge is a bonus. Other job duties to be expected or learned can include: assisting with loading/unloading plant material and equipment, basic operation and maintenance of tools, assisting with greenhouse operations and care of plant material.
About You
The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of horticulture, as well as experience with a variety of plants and landscape types. They should be able to work independently and be able to identify and troubleshoot problems as they arise. A valid driver's license is required and the ability to follow instructions and work with a team. Applicants must be able to comfortably bend, walk and kneel for 8 hours, lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions (rain, snow, extreme cold or heat).
