Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Manager monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Manager trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Legacy Bank is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations.     Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all bank facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for Legacy team members and customers.
    • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors and service providers; monitor and ensure contractor compliance for company contracts including but not limited to: landscape, janitorial, HVAC, carpet, elevator and snow removal. Coordinate and track contracts for janitorial, grounds maintenance and waste disposal for all branches.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify and address any issues. Establish procedures and contacts to ensure timely repairs of equipment requiring minor repairs on a frequent basis.
    • Manage facility budgets and control costs, negotiating contracts and service agreements.
    • Coordinate and supervise new construction, renovation, refurbishment, and relocation projects.
    • Handle emergency situations and provide timely resolutions to facility-related problems, communicating progress to stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
    • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Also responsible for regular maintenance of the company vehicle fleet and other duties as assigned.
    • Work core hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, plus additional hours when and if necessary. May include afterhours on occasion when events or work cannot be done during normal banking hours.

    Qualifications

    • Five to ten years proven experience in facilities management. Experience in a banking or a professional services environment is a plus.
    • Minimum two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Certification in facilities management (CFM, FMP or similar) is a plus.
    • State approved driver's license is required.
    • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
    • Ability to manage multiple locations, mostly in the Wichita area, and priorities effectively to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Experience in managing new construction punch lists and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items is a plus.
    • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create and manage documents, contracts, spreadsheets, presentations, and communication.

Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
