Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Responsibilities:
- Manage the shipping workflow and other warehouse operations
- Maintain the daily shipping and receiving schedule
- Coordinate the pick up and drop off of shipments
- Review and prepare pick tickets for the warehouse team
- Assist the warehouse team with inventory and quality control
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance and facility requests
- Manage facility and equipment maintenance schedules
- Function as a liaison for vendors and suppliers
- Maintain accurate level of facility and office supplies
- Verify accuracy of staged products before shipping
- Utilize company specific software and paperwork
- Research and report inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional manner
- Follow directions provided by Management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Efficient organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Experience in a warehouse preferred
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
