ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Business Analyst - ERP Financial
The State of Rhode Island is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to assist with a variety of tasks within the agency related to the State’s multi-year Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project. The Business Analyst is required to work with Department stakeholders understand business goals and implement technology solutions within the business environment. Responsibilities:- Work with stakeholders to understand the details of business processes, policies and procedures.
- Understand different business practices including Human Resources, Finance and other areas of government practice and identify areas of continuous improvement.
- Analyze business requirements from different areas and identify areas of similarity or gaps between programs.
- Document business processes and translate to system processes.
- Prioritize requirements and facilitate the review and approval of design documents.
- Identify system design decisions that require Executive business input.
- Develop scenarios and use cases to test full business functionality.
- Work with business to develop test cases to test IT functionality.
- Conduct testing of IT systems in both implementation and maintenance environments.
- Troubleshoot issues in IT system to ensure business use cases are met.
- Help develop training material for business stakeholders.
- Communicate with project management staff on changes and risks that arise in system implementation.
- Three years experience as a business analyst or similar position.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on a variety of tasks with competing priorities.
- Communicate and collaborate with Agency Business and Technology leads.
- Capacity to work within a complex and highly visible project.
- Exceptional decision-making skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Ability and willingness to be onsite in Rhode Island in a hybrid (3 onsite/2 remote) schedule. This is not a remote position
