Environmental Services Coordinator jobs in Missouri

Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Job Summary

    Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains an assigned area in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, including event and conference room set-ups. Duties include making timely rounds to pick up soiled, infectious waste, reusable patient care equipment and instruments. Also responsible for segregating these items to their respective holding areas and for cleaning and reprocessing equipment and other reusable patient care items. Including proper transporting and handling of hazardous chemicals to the designated storage area. Further tasks include running the assigned shift, accordingly, delegating tasks to EVS colleagues, ensure all assignments have been completed by EVS colleagues, rounding areas assigned by the EVS manager/assistant managers, answering phone calls and any proper follow up.

    Job Details And Requirements

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED- preferred

    Certification & Licensures:

    • N/A

    Experience:

    • Previous Housekeeping experience- preferred
