Environmental Geologist/Groundwater Hydrogeologist (experience preferred)
Job Description:
Blackstone Environmental is seeking a Geologist or Hydrogeologist to support operations in our Overland Park, Kansas office. The successful candidate will execute various assignments related to:
· Groundwater well installation, soil boring oversight and geologic logging.
· Groundwater sampling and reporting.
· Landfill groundwater monitoring network design.
· Phase 1.0 and 2.0 Environmental site assessments
· Contaminated site characterization and remediation
· Landfill Construction Assurance (CQA)
· GIS capabilities in ArcGIS Pro or Mapper (preferred)
· other environmental services as needed by the company.
The successful candidate will prepare written materials including correspondence, work plans, reports, and health and safety plans. The position will allow for growth in project management responsibilities for assigned clients and projects. Blackstone will provide oversight and training in support of working toward professional licensure.
