Assistant Payment Posting Supervisor

Position Overview

This position supports the posting department and is responsible for area as assigned by the Posting Supervisor to include timekeeping, maintaining staffing levels within the department and continuing to be responsible for posting to one (1) full account.

Essential Functions

• Maintain employees' timecards/time off calendar
• Call on any issues with the lockboxes
• Update lockbox spreadsheet when needed
• Assist with any locked accounts
• Assist employees with questions
• Interview potential employees
• Monthly Reviews
• Posting one (1) full account
• Help coordinate quarterly luncheons
• Additional duties as assigned

Competencies

• Able to act independently in productivity-based environment
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
• Give focused attention to detail
• Able to prioritize workload and move readily from task to task.

Education Requirements

• High school graduate
• Must agree to take and pass coding course by 12 months post-hire

Required experience

• Proficiency in Excel/Word
• 2-year experience in medical payment posting

Paid Time Off

• 8 paid holidays once you have completed your 90-day probationary period.

401k plan

• Eligible after one year of service.

We pay you for 2, 15-minute breaks and ask you to clock out for a 30-minute lunch break. Our team wears scrubs and sneakers and we provide 2 sets of scrubs after you have worked with us for a couple of weeks. You are welcome to wear the company t-shirt we provide with jeans on Thursdays and Fridays.
