The Administrator is responsible for providing a comprehensive business administration service to support the work carried out by the teams across Wales. The service is designed to deliver housing interventions for men on probation or soon to be leaving custody who will be reporting to probation upon release that are identified as having housing support needs. The focus of our work is homelessness prevention and improving housing options for men on probation and we play a key role in supporting probation colleagues to reduce reoffending and change lives.
Our service currently covers South Wales, Gwent and Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner regions and the role will offer hybrid working to enable flexible, responsive adminsitrative support. We are, ideally looking for someone who can work flexibly over 3 days ie Monday, Wednesday, Friday but this can be reviewed to reflect service needs as well of the individual circumstances of the successful candidate.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Operations Manager and management team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and monitoring the targets set by Forward and our commissioners. One of the key targets will be measuring housing outcomes, so co-operative working relationships with other partner agencies is vital to this role (example local authority housing teams).
The purpose of this post is to ensure the smooth administration of the service, encompassing some secretarial duties, data entry collection and monitoring systems. This role will be based throughout the South Wales region so some flexibility will needed and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once will be key.
