Employee Services Manager manages the selection, design, and implementation of employee engagement programs geared to attract and retain employees and promote a healthy and productive work environment. Administers programs focused on work-life, child care, fitness, discounts, remote working, education, training, and others to provide options that engage employees. Being an Employee Services Manager analyzes and assesses program utilization, employee feedback, competitiveness, and workforce productivity to ensure that a cost-effective mix of programs is offered. Reviews and researches complex questions and identifies opportunities to improve employee engagement and work experience. Additionally, Employee Services Manager implements policies and procedures to guide department workflow to control program costs, promoting efficiency and optimizing administrative hours delegated to programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Employee Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Employee Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What you’ll do as a Mechanical Tree Trimmer at Lewis:

    • Be part of a tight-knit group working in a team environment.
    • Trim and/or removes trees by climbing or with aid of an aerial lift (under the direct supervision of a crew leader or qualified line clearance tree trimmer).
    • Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris and/or feed brush into brush chipper.
    • Use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment.
    • Use and maintain small power tools at ground level.
    • Spray stumps and brush.
    • Drive and operates trucks and Skid-steers safely.
    • Report the need for repairs of trucks and equipment to crew leader.
    • Safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the working area. Help enforce on the job safety practices.

    What You’ll Need

    • Must be able to perform physical labor such as lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. to shoulder height or more.
    • Must be capable of operating Skid-steers, two-handed equipment (chain saw, circular saw, and have the physical ability to endure extreme climate variances.
    • Willing and able to obtain specialized training and certifications as required, such as tree species identification, local, state and federal licenses
    • Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR cards
    • Pass a pre-employment drug test and job duty skills tests
    • Possess a valid Driver’s License
