    The Employee Relations Specialist will assume a pivotal role within our organization. The responsibilities will encompass strategic planning and hands-on execution across various HR functions, with a primary focus on enhancing employee relations, performance management, engagement, benefits administration, training, and policy implementation. This role will be instrumental in building collaborative relationships throughout the company and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR-related processes.

    Responsibilities:

    Employee Relations:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact and lead for employee relations, providing guidance and resolution for workplace issues.
    • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, disputes, and grievances among employees, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes.

    Policy Compliance:

    • Enforce policies consistently and fairly.
    • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

    Employee Investigations and Counseling:

    • Conduct confidential investigations related to employee complaints, misconduct, or policy violations.
    • Gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and make recommendations for corrective actions or disciplinary measures.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees facing personal or professional challenges, including performance improvement plans and coaching.

    Employee Communication and Engagement:

    • Promote effective communication between management and employees.
    • Develop and implement employee engagement programs and initiatives

    Training and Development:

    • Collaborate with external partners to create training initiatives.
    • Identify training needs related to employee relations and develop and deliver training programs for employees and managers.
    • Monitor and track compliance with training, safety, and certification requirements.

    Performance Evaluation Management:

    • Manage the performance evaluation process, including training managers and ensuring consistency.
    • Participate in performance appraisals at various intervals, including 30/60/90-day evaluations, mid-year, and end of year assessments.

    Record Keeping and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records related to employee relations.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on employee relations metrics and trends to management.
    • Manage HRIS transactions and uphold data integrity.

    Onboarding and Talent Acquisition:

    • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires.
    • Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition & Marketing Brand Manager to facilitate HR Department growth.

    Compliance and Administrative Duties:

    • Serve as the liaison with the current PEO company for high-level administrative tasks.
    • Provide support to complete HR-related forms.

    The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $75k-$85k annual salary.
