Our Ashland Parts and Service department handles a wide spectrum of tasks for our customers and has great growth opportunity in the future. The Administrative Assistant is an extremely important position in the overall operation of our Appliance and Outdoor Power Departments. As a member of our Parts and Service and appliance team you will be working directly with our customers, salespeople, repair technicians, parts suppliers, and equipment manufacturers. Your ability to build relationships with each group will be paramount to building a successful career. You will be given the training and tools needed to prosper in this position, the only thing you will need to bring is a positive TEAM first attitude to work every day.

Responsibilities:

• Willingness to learn retail.
• Scan Documents and print files as needed.
• Schedule deliveries and route delivery drivers to their destinations
• Inputting any Work Orders and Sales Orders for Appliance and Outdoor Power service repairs
• Parts lookup and checking in parts when they come in
• Completing and billing out Work Orders and Sales Orders
• Contacting Customers with status updates on repair and parts orders
• Coordinating Pickup and Delivery for our customers equipment
• Filing Manufacture warranty claims on equipment repairs
• Merchandising and stocking parts on the sales floors and parts room
• Helping at the parts counter when needed and working directly with customers
• Filing paperwork
• Pulling parts for appliance repairs

Requirements:

• Experience as an administrative assistant or office clerk
• Epicor/eagle experience is a plus, but will train the right candidate
• Proficiency navigating Microsoft Windows 11
• Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
• Basic math and recording abilities
• Typing speed and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
• Experience using office equipment, like printers and scanners
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Confidentiality
• Keen eye for detail
• High School diploma: additional computer training or certification will be an asset

Job Requirements and benefits:

• Once established, your schedule will not change as we would like to make sure you are able to develop a good work/life balance
• Off most National Holidays
• Schedule is Monday-Saturday, with scheduled days off and rotating Saturdays and some evenings (till 7pm)
• Starting pay will range from $11 to $14 per hour depending on ability and experience levels.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $11.00 - $14.00/hour.
