EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. PSI is seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to join our growing office in Rapid City, SD. With an emphasis on operational and tactical aspects of the company accounting department, you will be a member of the executive leadership team, working collaboratively with other executives to enable strategic decision-making for the business.
You approach your work with a flexible, innovative, service-oriented mindset, and a strong emphasis on operational-based solutions. You possess an analytical mind, an ability to communicate timely financial information to your leadership colleagues, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth engineering company.
Responsibilities- Perform monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and reconciliations
- Lead an accounting department that processes complex contract invoicing and multi-state payroll accounting functions
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Assist Senior Management with special projects to support strategic decision-making (e.g., "what if" strategic analysis, forecasting, new project P&L projections)
- Identify and track key performance metrics pertaining to business operations, gross margins, benchmarking, etc
- Provide contract compliance data related to indirect cost rates, complete calculations for state agency overhead rate reviews
- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards
- Supervise accounting team functions that complete multi-state tax registrations, tax payments and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate the company’s risk management and insurance policies, renewals, coverages, and audit requests.
- 10 years' work experience in accounting management, financial statement analysis, GAAP compliance
- 8 years of people management experience in an accounting role
- CMA or CPA license preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business from an AACSB certified institution
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Extremely strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen
- Strong communications skills
- Project and time management skills
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience with accounting for federal government contracts is highly preferred
