EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Gilbane is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction-management project; as well as mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers. This role will sit primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings, meetings, etc.

    Responsibilities

    • Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
    • Produce all elements of project execution plan and implement
    • Provide jobsite leadership in the area of safety and quality
    • Maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

    • BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
    • 10-15 years in the lead role on projects valued at $50-100 million or larger
    • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Prior K-12 public school experience is preferred

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Strong technical and communication skills are critical
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)

    Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    For Rhode Island this ranges from $131,900.00-$181,400.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
