Education Specialist - Museum jobs in North Carolina

Seasonal Program Specialists will assist the education department in carrying out essential programming that fits the mission of the museum to inspire curiosity and understanding of the world!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operating the Gemstone Mine.
• Conducting educational programming.
• Assisting Schiele Museum staff with educational event days.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively and productively individually and as part of a team, indoors and outside under variable weather conditions.
• Availability on weekdays and weekends. Weekend days preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with an ease and enthusiasm for talking to individuals of all ages.
• Ability to always interact in a positive and professional manner.
• Dependability, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and share knowledge with others.
