EAP Manager manages, designs, and implements policies and procedures relating to a company's Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Ensures that inpatient and outpatient counseling and care facilities meet company standards. Being an EAP Manager provides training to management for dealing with medical and behavioral problems. Provides counseling to employees in the program. Additionally, EAP Manager evaluates the effectiveness of the EAP through data analysis and feedback from employees, making recommendations for improvement as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The EAP Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EAP Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary

    This position will be dedicated to the USPS EAP Program. The EAP Clinician will provide EAP services including short-term counseling/problem solving, educational and training activities, referral, monitoring, behavioral health consultation, critical incident response and follow-up. The EAP Clinician is responsible for providing services in-person, telephonically or via video.

    Essential Functions

    • Provides counseling and coaching through one-on-one interactions, either in-person or telephonically.
    • Provides telephonic consultation, triage and referrals to callers through the virtual call center/Service Center.
    • Provides consultation, training of, and assistance to USPS and union leadership.
    • Actively promotes the EAP program and services.
    • Provides critical incident response and psychological first aid for events that impact the workforce.
    • Adheres to Lucet Mission Statement, Core Values, Code of Business Conduct and Compliance Program
    • Complies with all Federal and applicable State laws and Lucet policies regarding privacy, confidentiality and security of health information and other designated information

    Job Qualifications

    Required

    • A master's and/or doctorate degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the corresponding professional association(s) in a clinical mental health field
    • A current state license or state certification to practice as a mental health practitioner (e.g., social worker, clinical psychologist, marriage and family counselor and professional counselor) in the state(s) where practice takes place. If such licensure/certification is not available in that state, the individual will hold appropriate certification from a recognized national certification organization or board.
    • A minimum of 5 Years of clinical experience after receiving a graduate degree.
    • Authority to practice at the independent level without requiring state-mandated clinical supervision.
    • Demonstrated capability to complete accurate bio-psychosocial assessments, including substance abuse assessments.
    • Specialized experience and/or training in phone and video counseling
    • Counselors will be knowledgeable about federal and state laws governing privacy, confidentiality, duty to warn and child and elder abuse reporting requirements
    • The EAP clinician will be bound by the laws of confidentiality and will discuss no specific clinical information with the referring supervisor unless the client has signed an authorization to use and disclose form authorizing the disclosure of specific information
    • This position requires driving. Employee must have an active driver's license and must be insurable. Lucet will request a motor vehicle record from the appropriate authority

    Preferred

    • Preferred Certified Employee Assistance Professionals (CEAP) and or knowledge and experience in EAP Practice

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The starting salary that Lucet reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $58,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on circumstances including an applicant'sskills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

    This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of Lucet's incentive plan based on both company performance and individual performance.

    This position is a federally contracted position with the United States Postal Service. which has specific requirements for all candidates which include:

    • The ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen prior to their date of hire.
    • The ability to undergo a Public Trust background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication.
    • US Citizenship for at least 5 years.
