Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.
Min = $62,613.875
Mid = $78,267.344
Summary
The Decision Support Analyst is responsible for the development of cost accounting standards, service line financial reporting, project management, and training for hospital site users. The Decision Support Analyst provides analyses in support of operational objectives strategic business development, cost management opportunities, clinical program evaluation and care management activities and concerns and serves as key role in implementations of new decision support systems, maintains and manage the decision support system.
Responsibilities
Maintains Cost Accounting system tables and user security.
Develops and maintains Cost Accounting system data loads, monthly routines, and daily routines.
Assists with data extraction and preparation for profitability analyses and procedures.
Provides support for development and analysis of adhoc projects and report requests.
Provides Month End Reports for Finance Division and Hospital Wide Departments on a scheduled basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Three (3) or more years related experience
