Customer Service Supervisor jobs in Louisiana
Customer Service Supervisor supervises a staff of customer service representatives that respond to requests from customers by phone, e-mail, or chat. Manages the daily workload to ensure required service volume and quality levels are attained. Being a Customer Service Supervisor trains and coaches staff in standard policies, procedures, and best practices. Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and implements solutions. Additionally, Customer Service Supervisor monitors and evaluate staff performance. Responds to escalated issues to facilitate solutions. May provide direct customer support for complicated or critical issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Customer Service Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Customer Service Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Purpose
and Impact
The Eastern Prairies Customer Service Supervisor will oversee a team that provides customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations and communications.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.
- Partner with team members to decide which tools or systems are appropriate to use for specific customer service environments.
- Use comprehensive knowledge of supply customer service practices and procedures to support and assist in developing tactical customer service strategies for a small customer base.
- Provide support and feedback to define improvement projects and commitments that require a thorough understanding of customer service practices and procedures for a small team.
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma / certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of directly related work experience
- Possess a valid, full Canadian Driver’s Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
- Ability to travel up to 30% for business in the Eastern Prairies Region
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of supervisory experience
- SAP experience
- Salesforce experience
- Ability to demonstrate high conflict resolution
- Experience providing remote support
