Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Teamlead (Tech-Lead) Business Intelligence (m/f/d), or a Senior Business Intelligence Developer (m/f/d) who has already gained strong leadership experience (e.g. several years guiding juniors). You will lead the team in the development and implementation of data-driven solutions. As a Business Intelligence & Analytics Expert at our client, you will have end-to-end responsibility for product management in the area of Data Intelligence, including Data Platform, Technology, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and Data Science. You will be offered a dynamic working environment where you can fully utilise your analytical skills. You will be the leader of a dedicated team working together to develop data-driven solutions and deliver the best experience to our customers

Your tasks:

• Professional and/or technical management of the BI team (several BI developers & BI experts)
• Requirements analysis and identification of potential fields in the specialist areas that can be realised through BI products & services
• Independent derivation of data-driven solutions to optimise the performance and processes of the business units
• Definition of measures for the implementation of the BI strategy
• Communication & coordination of corporate standards in the international companies
• Creation of requirements documentation (epics & user stories) as a basis for the product manager
• Advising, supporting and bringing about the necessary decisions for the realisation of BI solutions
• Coordination with the Data Platform team as part of the requirements elicitation (identification of data sources, creation, presentation and customisation of pilot solutions with IT)
• Management of BI sub-projects and initiatives
• Further tasks according to requirements

Requirements:

• Strong leadership experience (either as a team lead or senior BI developer who has managed junior developers, for example)
• Very strong experience with: PowerBI, DAX, SQL
• Successfully completed a degree or MBA in business administration, engineering, marketing or a comparable degree programme
• In-depth professional experience in a comparable environment
• Experience and passion for e-commerce and retail as well as understanding and enthusiasm for customer needs and online business models
• Strong understanding of economic & business contexts and excellent analytical skills
• Agile mindset and the desire to work in and lead a self-organised team
• Open for unconventional thinking & innovative topics
• Business fluent in English - written and spoken
