Job Summary:
Preferred Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department and the Credit Union's members.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Balance various General Ledger suspense accounts
- Assist in preparing and balancing bank reconcilement
- Assist with various electronic processes/services
- Respond member inquiries regarding resolving account discrepancies, balancing and reconciling
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transfer requests
Other duties may be assigned commensurate with the position.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong background in accounting functions
- Ability to handle large volumes of work requiring strong attention to detail
- Skilled in use with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of general ledger accounting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Background in financial services tasks
