    The Product Capabilities team will support across the credit card portfolio including consumer, branded, co-branded, small business, and some personal lending. The team is considered an execution engine for credit cards supporting capabilities from disclosures to pricing strategies related to new products and existing portfolios. They are central to supporting the growth of the business during a time of transformation towards a best in class, modern experience for our customers.

    The Chief of Staff (Sr Lead Business Execution Consultant) will be a critical role leading the development of a capacity planning model within credit cards. This will include ability to gather input from various team projects and understand the time and efforts necessary to forecast current and future capacity of the organization. This lead will provide details to enable trade-off discussions based on project workload by team and by subject matter expert (SME). This will be a role balanced with responsibility overseeing operational projects and initiatives of the team ensuring successful execution of deliverables as well as strategic mindset to support ad hoc business needs in a highly matrix, dynamic, fast paced organization.


    In this role, you will:

    • Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management
    • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions
    • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational
    • Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans
    • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership
    • Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise
    • Support planning process for the team including providing support for key projects, staffing plans, year-end performance and compensation process and establishing goals and MBOs


    Required Qualifications:

    • 7 years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience as a chief of staff, business manager, or consultant with a strong focus on operations
    • Experience within credit card or banking industry highly desired, may consider other industries that are also highly regulated
    • Familiarity with process, procedures and control management
    • Understanding of business needs and organizational design knowledge to support strategies related to product capabilities and enhancements
    • Ability to make critical decisions independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
    • Strong presence in communicating verbally and written to senior-executive level audiences, with ability to synthesize complex data and complex scenarios in simple form
    • Proficient with Power Point and Excel
    • Strong thought leader
    • Ability to drive deliverables in an Agile environment


     

    One key responsibility of this role will be to lead the development of a capacity planning model.  Gather input from various capabilities teams projects and understand time efforts to calculate current and future capacity.  Also output provide details to enable trade-off discussions based on project workload by team and by subject matter expert (SME).  Digital excel based model exists as a good example.

    Pay Range

    $120,400.00 - $287,600.00
