  • Position Summary :

    We are currently looking for a Card Service Representative to join our team in providing extraordinary service to our membership, community and to the team.

    The highest performance expectation of a Card Service Representative (CSR) is to serve the member. The functional objective of a CSR is to provide support to the membership and the front-line member service teams for Cardholder debit and ATM transactions.

    Responsibilities :

    • Handle member disputes for debit cards. Apply provisional credits to member’s accounts, refund fees and process disputes through Visa DPS system within 24 hours.
    • Review and respond to Service Requests in CRM. By checking multiple times daily, assign, process, research and email sender.
    • Pull Accounting Entry Memo Report in Visa Resolve Online-Process any adjustments, reversals of provisional credits. Additionally, review / work with Accounting to resolve issues
    • Pull Daily Debit NSF report from Visa Data Manager.
    • Setup Fraud Suppressions on members debit cards, including member travel request.
    • Run and review month end reports.
    • Process Ticking report for un-posted debit card items daily-Lookup each transaction in Visa DPS, record name of merchant, and post member’s account.
    • Process all plastic bond claims-Create Notice of Loss / Proof of Loss on Cuna website. Bond claims losses are input on spreadsheet.
    • Verify debit card batch orders. The next day spot check debit cards in Visa DPS to make sure cards are on the Visa system.
    • Pull Inactive Card Report monthly Close debit cards that have been inactive for one year or longer.
    • Perform Visa account maintenance.
    • Block compromised Visa cards on DNA.
    • Prepare compromised card list for IT automatic call system. CAMS Alert emails are received from Visa Call Center for compromised cards and are then processed through the CMS Compromised Card Process Tool.

    The status of the cards is verified and new cards are reissued when necessary. Calls are made by IT auto-dialer if twenty-six or more cards are affected.

    Twenty-five and under, calls are made by Card Services team.

    • Close cards when member requests are received.
    • Pull Expired Card list close debit cards that are still open but account is closed.

    Fiserv DNA :

    • Complete basic navigational skills in DNA through the Relationship and Transaction screens.
    • Understand the products and services offered by the credit union along with being knowledgeable of the transaction, service and fees description coding DNA.
    • Be aware of the purpose of warning flags available and assigned in DNA. Understand the different account levels a warning flag could be assigned at in DNA.

    Be knowledgeable of when card services warning flags should be assigned or removed against a members account and at which level they should assigned.

    Add / Update / Remove member notes in DNA. Be knowledgeable of which sub-class should be assigned and inactive date if necessary.

    Also, have an understanding of the different levels member notes may be added on account and at which level.

    • Process provisional credit transaction in DNA. Selecting correct transaction options to credit members account, recording consistent transaction description selecting correct GL Title options per dispute type.
    • Process service charges or service charge reversals through the Maintenance screen DNA. Select correct service charge of reverse fees options for posting.

    Reversal of fees completed by occurrence and not lump sum

    Qualifications :

    • 2-4 degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • General Accounting Knowledge or experience preferred.
    • Analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to resolve member issues in a timely manner.
    • Proficient in excel and Word.
    • Experience in DNA.
    • Telhio applicants must be able to pass a background check including : Credit, Drug Screen, Bondability, & Criminal Background.
    • Must have a valid / unexpired driver's license.
