TruEnergy Federal Credit Union, a $130 million-dollar Credit Union located in Springfield, Virginia, is looking for an experienced Collections Manager to direct and lead all collection efforts for the credit union. This position is responsible for taking the necessary action to minimize delinquency and charge-offs, maximize recoveries, while serving the credit union and its members. The Collections Manager will ensure collections activities are in compliance with state and federal credit and collection rules and regulations, along with TEFCU’s policies and procedures. The Collections Manager will coordinate the collections activities with third party vendors, members and internal staff.

Requirements:
- BA/BS degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum seven (7) years financial institution experience including working with consumer loan collections and delinquencies.
- College coursework in Business and/or Finance preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Fair Credit Reporting Act helpful but not necessary.
- Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.
- PC proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, postage machine, etc.
