Responsibilities For The Cost Accounting Manager- Establish and maintain standard costs and inventory
- Develop analytical tools to highlight KPI’s
- Analysis of direct manufacturing and overhead cost
- Maintain standard cost
- Conduct ongoing pricing, cost and gross margin reviews
- Manage annual physical inventory
- Develop and maintain sales & margin reporting
- Product line reporting and analysis
- Contribute to month-end closes and general ledgers
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a degree in business, or related field - preferred.
- 5 years direct Cost Accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills and strong system skills required
- Experience with DCAA and DCMA government audits
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, accounting policies and procedures
- Experience with internal controls compliance, cost accounting methods, cost modeling tools Demonstrated analytical skills and an ability to interpret complex data
