The Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) will execute Michigan Medicine's strategy for professional foundations, corporate partnerships, and associations/other organizations as part of a collaborative team to design and implement campus visits while growing support with intentionality. They will synthesize complex information from principal investigators and program leaders and work with them to approach prospective funders.
Within the Michigan Medicine Office of Development, the Associate Director will support their colleagues by assessing the fit of faculty members' research for foundation funding and collaborating to meet institutional fundraising goals. By working across all of Michigan Medicine's Departments, members of the CFR team are ambassadors for the Development team, working with a diverse range of people across units. The position calls for initiative taking, intellectual curiosity, superior interpersonal skills and political savvy.

The onsite location for this position is an office suite at the 777 Building. This provides free, on-site parking for staff.
This position may be eligible for flexible work opportunities at the discretion of the hiring department. Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent on the business needs of the hiring department, throughout the course of employment.
