Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled roofers with some siding experience or willingness to learn to join our team. The ideal candidate will understand the meaning of carhart type work clothes, hand tools, tool boxes, ladder racks and possess a strong work ethic (basically a full time Construction Worker type)
Duties:
-will include all aspects of roofing from set up to clean up to finished product
-should also be aware of OSHA safety procedures and protocols
- Perform work in accordance with safety regulations and company standard
-minor carpentry duties could include replacing roofing underlayment or structural supports
-Some work may require use of man lifts
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Inspect work to ensure conformity to specifications and quality standards-Own transportation required preferably with ladder carrying capabilities for possibility of small jobs
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Roofing experience
- Experience using man lifts
- Experience with siding installation
- Capability for heavy lifting (Well we do have a shingle lift, lifting requirements may be 80 pounds or greater at times with the help of others)This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Roofer to showcase their talents and contribute to a variety of projects.
