Informatix has opportunities for you to become part of our team that delivers innovative solutions to our government clients. We are currently seeking an Payment Processing (Data Entry) Lead for our Jackson, MS office.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Payment Processing (Data Entry) Lead to provide oversight of our Payment Processing Department and who will actively participate in and provide assistance with daily operational processing activities to meet contractual deadlines. The Payment Processing Lead will insure that all service level agreements (SLAs) are met and will give direction to staff to fulfill these SLAs, will have responsibility to assure quality assurance processes and procedures are followed and will assist with coaching and training of staff performing job duties in the Payment Processing Department.

What you’ll do:

1. Supply feedback to management regarding staff performance.

2. Ensure contract compliance through same-day mail receipting and deposit.

3. Work closely with staff to ensure payment processing tasks are completed each day.

4. Work closely with management to analyze quality assurance findings and improve work product.

5. Recommend and assist with developing new work processes to improve workflow.

6. Write new procedures and update existing procedures as needed

7. Assist with training new staff.

8. Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

The successful candidate must be able to handle details of a confidential, critical nature and must function effective and efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative, professional environment. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

· Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field a plus, but not required.

· 1 Years’ experience in a finance, accounting, banking, payment processing/lockbox operation setting or other relevant operation.

· 1 Years’ experience in a lead or supervisory position.

· Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

· Strong 10-key skills.

· Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail.

· Excellent written and oral communication capability; persuasive, encouraging, motivating, and inspiring; the ability to listen and understand.

· Strong relationship management skills.

· Ability to motivate team members.

· Due to the diverse nature of this operation; candidate must show flexibility and willingness to adapt to change and work effectively during periods of pressure and stress.

· Candidate must display cooperation and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities.

· Candidate must use good judgment and analytical skills to problem solve.

· Candidate must be able to work independently, with little supervision once assignments have been established.

· Previous experience in a payment processing operation a plus.

· Previous experience with Title IV-D child support program a plus.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2 pm.
