Your job responsibilities as the Education Consultant and Wealth Advisor: Provide financial education and advice to help employees make informed decisions about retirement savings and other aspects of their financial well-being. Educate the employee on their retirement picture, including social security, pension plans, state governmental plans, employer plans (401(k), 403(b), etc.), and individual savings plans (IRA, 529, Non-qualified investments, etc.). Maintain a level of Operational knowledge to assist the Client and plan participants with processes and transactions. Proactively engage with plan sponsors, advisors, client service team, and marketing to enhance the education experience for all plan participants. Actively engage in marketing activities, including speaking, writing, attending events, and maintaining an active social media presence. Prepare and analyze financial planning documents such as goal projections, investment recommendations, debt pay-down strategies, etc. Assist with benefits fairs, retirement seminars, open enrollments, and one-on-one appointments hosted by the employer; utilize one-on-one meetings, webinars, workshops, group meetings, and newsletters to deliver educational programming. Qualifications: You are perfect for this opportunity if you have: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in relationship management, preferably within the retirement industry. An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications. Series 63 or 65 or Series 66 license within 90 days of hire date. Broad understanding of retirement benefits. High integrity, good judgment skills, and commitment to doing the right thing for their clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player with a great attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Must be thorough, detail-oriented, and responsible for working with confidential information. Ability to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobs.
