Job Summary:

Dine Source is seeking a Configuration Manager to support the AF Civil Engineering section of the AFLCMC BES organization. We are looking for a candidate with configuration management and communication skills. The candidate must have the knowledge, experience, and thought leadership required to provide full-spectrum configuration management and Capability Delivery Team (CDT) services to support the planning, design, testing, update, documentation, implementation, development, and sustainment/fielding of CE's automated systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the configuration change management process, including reviewing change documentation to ensure clarity, conciseness, and validity.
• Perform general Atlassian Confluence/JIRA design and development tasks, including customization.
• Manage workflows and projects in Atlassian Confluence and JIRA.
• Assign change review board members and evaluate comments.
• Assist in defining change implementation plans and assigning tasks to update documentation.
• Prepare data packages to request and collect customer responses when applicable.
• Assist with tracking changes, helping to expedite them through the workflows.
• Provide identifying, formatting, and other requested administrative assistance on contract-required documents.
• Assist with data access controls within the required tools.
• Ensure project compliance with USAF's handling of technical data and proprietary information.
• Support productivity initiatives relative to CM processes.
• Develops, reviews, and maintains a configuration management plan for all aspects of the software lifecycle.
• Provides guidance and leadership in all aspects of configuration management.
• Oversees software tracking and releases.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain! 
• Has 3-12 years of experience and an MA/MS degree
• Has experience working in an Agile Environment utilizing Atlassian Confluence and Jira as the Primary documentation resource 
• Typically works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently
• May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
• Clear, concise oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal / customer service skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to understand engineering practices/processes and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
