Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher creates, smoothes, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for all aspects of concrete placement. This includes:
Form Setting / Setup: wall panels, edge forms, grading
Placement of the Concrete: straight edging, raking
Finishing Concrete: edging, crawling/hand troweling, bull float, fresno, walk behind trowel (required for higher pay), rider trowel (required for higher pay), sawcutting, curing
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to consistently lift 60 pounds
· Frequently required to walk, stand, kneel, crawl, reach, stoop and crouch
Weekly Pay
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
