Computer Operations Shift Supervisor jobs in Pennsylvania
Computer Operations Shift Supervisor supervises and monitors the computer operations of one or more shifts. Leads the operating and monitoring of computer equipment and delegates workflow as necessary. Being a Computer Operations Shift Supervisor uses established procedures to perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and its peripherals. Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on the monitor of the terminal to identify faulty output or machine stoppage. Additionally, Computer Operations Shift Supervisor may require an associate degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Your Role
Night Shift Operations Supervisor shift is Tuesday - Friday 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM
What You'll Do
- Requires attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Maintain daily productivity, metric goals, and monitor attendance of the department.
- Coach, motivate, and counsel associates as needed.
- Provide training and information to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Be proactive in cross-training and keep detailed records of the skill set of each associate.
- Ability to multi-task, and have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Plan daily workflow, assignments, and priorities.
- Work with other departments to coordinate flow through the facility to meet distribution goals.
- Maintain communication with manager regarding all department activities and issues.
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and a culture of safety is present in the work area.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed as assigned.
- Creating, managing, and supporting recognition and communication programs.
What You Bring
- Two or more years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
