Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer jobs in New Hampshire
Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications. Reads and interprets technical blueprints and design models and inputs the product design into the computer modeling software. Being a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications, and troubleshoots and maintains the machine. Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (MasterCAM,CAMWorks or others). Additionally, Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer tests accuracy of settings and programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. $25.00-35.00 per hour based on experience.
This team-oriented role partners with quality members, programming, manufacturing, and engineering to solve unique and challenging problems.
Essential Job Functions:
ยท Basic In-Process Inspection
- Create CMM programs for new components & update previous programs.
- Proficient in full open-setup inspection of parts.
- Perform roaming inspections of finished machined parts throughout the shop.
- Perform first article/PPAP inspections with associated documentation.
- Perform gage setup, calibration, and R&R studies.
- Identify non-conforming parts for managerial review.
- Partner with machinists to find the cause of faulty parts.
- Develop work instructions & directly train machinists and quality technicians on best practices.
- Operates CMM
- Ability to diagnose non correlation of CMM & Manufacturing Results
Prospective Candidates should:
- Have a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Have the ability to utilize a multitude of different inspection equipment and technologies.
- Have GD&T knowledge with ability to use various inspection equipment.
- Give recommendations based on their experience & knowledge.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a Quality Systems role.
- Minimum 1 year programming Calypso CMM software.
