Competitive Pricing Manager assists with the pricing analysis of revenue, market share, capacity, and competitor activity to provide pricing for products, geographies, and market segments aligned with products and sales strategy. Conducts market research and intelligence gathering and recommends pricing targets. Being a Competitive Pricing Manager maintains competitive pricing databases to monitor changes in the marketplace and their impact on new and existing products. Performs analyses to test customer price sensitivity and elasticity. Additionally, Competitive Pricing Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Competitive Pricing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and measurement of the pricing strategy in alignment with the Global Pricing Strategy and Policy. The role will support and lead the implementation of the Pricing Software and will closely engage with the commercial team to make sure the pricing strategy and profitability goals are being met.
Primary Strategic Pricing business partner across the company with the ability to influence and implement the pricing strategies as set out by management. Lead projects cross-functionally and optimally communicate to all upstream/downstream partners to ensure understanding of strategy, Pricing project plan and impact. Build, implement and manage all KPI's and design/apply best in class pricing governances, troubleshoot pricing anomalies to drive profitable growth.
Salary range for this position is $135k-160k per year.
